ABOUT KEVIN
A FAMILY OF ARTISTS
Growing up in the rolling hills of the Palouse region in the Northwest US, Kevin's creativity was nurtured not only by the area's natural beauty but also by his family's artistic traditions. His mother, an oil painter, and his grandfather, skilled in pen and ink, both inspired him with their dedication to their craft. These influences sparked Kevin's own passion for art, leading him to explore various mediums such as illustration, sculpture, and even kayak building. For Kevin, he finds joy in quiet pursuits and ultimately immersing himself in the meditative process of creation.
Kevin takes immense pride in his daughter's vibrant creativity, expressed through her work with acrylics, paint pens, and crocheting, as well as her talent for playing the cello. Watching her embrace a creative life fills him with joy and optimism for her bright future.
MASTERS of EDUCATION
Kevin is pursuing a Masters in Education (K-12) with teacher licensure, blending his passion of art with a commitment to nurturing creativity and learning for students.
He is dedicated to creating connections for students, encouraging them to explore the fun and challenge in creativity, and inspiring meaningful conversations to further their ideas.
